Our Story...

We are a Camogie Club for players from Portarlington, Killenard, Emo & surrounding areas. The club was formed in 2013 and has gone from strength to strength with over 180 members registered. We field teams at Under 6/8/10/12/14/16 & minor, with new players always welcome. Fondly known as "the hardest working ladies in the parish", Banríon Gaels players have excelled for club, schools and county. In recent years we took home our first county title in 2018, winning the U12 Shield Final. Club players have been an integral part of parish school teams in the Cumann na mBunscoil competitions and we have players on the Laois county panel at U14, U16 and minor level.

Players from age 5 are welcome. We train twice a week in McCann Park, Portarlington. All times are advised on the Club Facebook page.
