Our Story..
We are a Camogie Club for players from Portarlington, Killenard, Emo, Courtwood, Gracefield & the surrounding areas. The club was formed in 2013 and has gone from strength to strength with over 180 members registered. We field teams at Under 8s,10s,12s,14s,16s,Minor and Junior with new players always welcome. We will be re-introducing a Nursery in 2025 to foster new members from Age 5. Fondly known as the hardest working ladies in the parish, Banríon Gaels players have excelled for club, schools and county. Club players have been an integral part of parish school teams in the Cumann na mBunscoil competitions and we have players on the Laois county panel at all of U14, U16 and Minor level. Players from age 5 are welcome. We train twice a week mainly between McCann Park, Portarlington and O’Dempseys, Killenard. All times are advised on the Club Facebook page.
